The KLiTZ, considered by many as Memphis' original punk band, showcased a lineup featuring four remarkable talents: Gail Elise Clifton as the vocalist, Marcia Clifton on drums, Lesa Aldridge on guitar, and Amy Gassner on bass.

With their unique blend of raw energy and rebellious spirit, The KLiTZ made an indelible mark on Memphis' punk rock history. Alex Chilton and Jim Dickinson produced and recorded much of their work, and The KLiTZ shared bills with punk legends the Cramps, Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, and more.
